From Penpal to Fluent Communicator<\/h2>\n

Hi, I\u2019m Frederic Bibard, the founder of My Daily Spanish<\/em>.
<\/span><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t grow up confident with languages. In fact, the first foreign language I chose in school was German\u2026 mostly because I thought the teacher looked nice. (True story.)
<\/span><\/p>\n

Later, I got serious about English. I could read. I could write.
But when it came to speaking? I froze.
<\/span><\/p>\n

Then something changed.
In the early 2000s, I got a penpal from the U.S. We exchanged letters for months. Eventually, we met in person.
<\/span><\/p>\n

The first hour? Awkward. I overthought everything.
But then\u2026 I relaxed. And I started speaking more naturally.
<\/span><\/p>\n

That moment stayed with me.
<\/span><\/p>\n

Writing + speaking + a safe environment = real fluency.<\/strong>
<\/span><\/p>\n

Fast forward to 2013, I launched Talk in French \u2014 to help others learn a language without fear and with a structure that actually works.
<\/span><\/p>\n

Then in 2016, a Spanish-speaking friend said:
<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou should build the same thing for Spanish. There\u2019s nothing else like what you\u2019re doing.\u201d<\/em>
<\/span><\/p>\n

So I did.
<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s how My Daily Spanish<\/em> was born.
<\/span><\/p>\n

And we\u2019ve been helping learners speak with confidence ever since.<\/span><\/p>\n
